Early survey maps indicate that the original parcel of land consisting of 160 acres was secured in 1886 by W. Whiteside. Subsequent pioneer names such as Williamson, Evison, and Batema have close association with the property located at Nilma North just east of the regional township of Warragul in West Gippsland. The Victorian style cottage homestead although originally constructed around 1892 has seen several sympathetic additions since then yet still retains its charm and character. Now on 20 acres of lush grazing land with an acre and a half of cottage garden around the house Springbank is a hosted traditional bed and breakfast comprising of two rooms in the main homestead and a cottage which used to be the cream room for the original dairy. Springbank caters for up to six adults ( 3 couples). Springbank offers a tranquil relaxing setting with serene rural views. In addition to superior accommodation we offer a range of dining experiences ranging from a simple home cooked meal, superb cheese platters or fine dining in our beautiful dining room. We can also arrange a massage to ease the tensions away providing you with a refreshed and revitalised approach to the day. We look forward to your company. For those who appreciate the finer things in life.
